After Graceland I wet to Beale Street. What a great time.
The road was blocked off for about 6 blocks. Blues clubs one after another.
It was late afternoon but bans were already playing.
You can buy a drink on the sidewalk and take it with you. I was drinking Bloody Marys.
There were whimsical buggies you can hire.
Bands jamming for tips.
The Daisy Theatre is one of several classy vintage theatres on Beale st.
More street scenes.
Plus trolleys galore. Different shapes & colors.
I left Beale Street in early evening. I had an early train to catch to New Orleans.
I recommend Tater Reds just for the sign.
